As a special festive treat we are delighted to share the 1729 Maths School Christmas card, which is packed full of holiday-themed maths puzzles written by our Mathematician-in-Residence, George Watkins.
The cover features a wintry design inspired by the Koch snowflake – one of the earliest fractals to have been described and certainly one of the most famous, with the fascinating property that it has finite area but infinite perimeter.
Merry Christmas and Seasons Greetings to everyone in the 1729 Maths School Community.
