We are committed to supporting the most promising young mathematicians on a meritocratic basis, therefore our admissions are selective and need-blind.

Up to £2.4 million is available each year in full and partial bursaries for a wide range of income levels, enabling students to attend the school whatever their family’s financial circumstances.
Bursaries will be awarded to students following an assessment of the needs of a student and their family. Once a bursary has been awarded, the funding is committed for every year that the student remains at 1729.
As well as bursaries, a small number of Ramanujan Scholarships will be awarded to recognise the most outstanding candidates upon entry to 1729. Each scholarship will award a 25% tuition fee reduction.
School fees are the same as those for Belmont Prep and Mill Hill School and are subject to the same annual changes. The fees shown are applicable from September 2025 and are inclusive of VAT.
